Zach Carter is interested.

I aspire to create beautiful work. However, like all filmmakers, I am first and foremost a storyteller.

I grew up in Weston, CT, attended Lehigh University, moved to Tulsa, OK as a Teach For America corps member. I now live in Austin, TX with my wife and our dog Moose! I love connecting with good people, trying new food, and learning more about the world through podcasts, conversations, and all forms of media. Like many filmmakers, I’ve had a variety of jobs, experiences, and have found that what I enjoy most is creating meaningful stories with a talented team.

I have had the privilege of working with some of the best visual artists, producers, directors, production companies, and people in the business. I bring a variety of experiences to my work and am proud of project I’ve been apart of.

What I believe makes my work shine is my genuine interest in the subject and what story we’re telling.

I love how I get to spend my time, and feel lucky to truly enjoy it.
